The artificial Island of Dolls is one of the most haunted locations across the globe. The legend talks of a girl who died here after drowning in a Mexican canal. When Julian Barrera moved to this island, he was haunted by the spirit of the girl. To please her spirit, he hung several dolls across the island. After a while, Julian told his nephew that the girl wanted him to join her as a playmate in afterlife. His body was later found in the canal at the same spot as that of the girl. Visitors to the island have reported that the eyes of the dolls follow them. They have even reported hearing voices of whispers and laughing.
