20. Castle Of Good Hope, South Africa

The entrance to the haunted Castle of Good Hope in Cape TownBuilt by the Dutch East India Company at Cape Town in the 16th century, the Castle of Good Hope was used for replenishment of ships that were to venture into the dangerous waters. For years, the guards on duty report seeing the ghosts of a screaming woman, a tall gentleman, and a black dog. The ghost of the screaming woman, however, reportedly stopped making appearance after a woman’s body was excavated near the castle.
